Last Thursday, May 20th, the cyclone Laila had hardly hit the indian east coast. The impact of the cyclone also hit Sri Lanka.
In India, more than 50,000 people have now found refuge in government camps , in Sri Lanka, there are around 450,000 sinister people.
Uprooted trees littered the roads, electricity cut off, access to water unusable, destroyed houses, fields uncultivable ... Here the landscape of Andhra Pradesh today.
In India, the government has set up emergency programs, but the needs are too numerous to be fully covered.
InMaLanka joins his partner Desire India to distribute needly goods to the most affected villagers (food, clothes, kitchen utensils...).
Requirements have been defined by G. Israel, President of Desire India, present on the field during the devastating passage of Cyclone Laila.
We are counting on your support and your solidarity.
